From last research, I see breaking lock doesn’t take lots of time, so I decide to think about solutions with a bike or inside a bike.

And more I researched about existing bike alarms.

Almost are sound alarm system. I think if a thief brings huge electric grinder, he might not care the alarm sound and he could break it easily. So I think we need one more step that is to make a bike stop with sound alarming.

There are some challenge things.

Almost existing alarm need to be installed outside of a bike. I think thieves shouldn’t know about it. They might prepare it. And , personally, I don’t want to make my bike look ugly with the alarm box. But installing inside of frame is really hard unless the bike is huge MTB has thick frame.

 

Also, I have some more ideas:

Taking thief’s face with hidden camera then send it to web.

Just put a NYPD sticker on frame.

When a bike stolen, twitt the bike information automatically.

Hidden GPS system send location info.
