    Project Concepts

My friends have yet to be name. 😦

Concept one: Do you think you have had enough too drink? This plush keychain friend has a built in breathalyzer. He will yell at you when you are almost/are too drunk. All you have to do is kiss him.

Concept two: Are you afraid of the dark? This plush will serve as a night light! It lights up when the room gets dark and matches your heart beat for a soothing night of sleep. This friend will give you the best sleep ever!

Concept three: Are you lonely? When you hug this plush, he lights up and vibrate for that human feel. Simply touch him and he’ll go crazy with love. If you leave him too long, he’ll whine.

Writing Assignment about Lucy – 02/07/2011

    1) Explain (in a nutshell) your code structure, logic and/or important parts.

The code structure starts with identifying all variables. Then pairs or maps pitches to the amount of light coming through. The most important part of the code is the Serial.print function because it provides information from the photocell so you know if it’s working!

    2) What did you do that you feel is new, non-obvious and/or useful?

Lucy makes a high pitch annoying noise that no one has ever made before. It is wretched. Lucy & Sam together are new/non-obvious because one is afraid of the dark and the other is afraid of the light, therefore they work together to protect each other. .

    Lucy!

LUCY & SAM are noise making light sensitive bears! Lucy is my bear. Her sound is a little hard to detect because she’s just a young baby bear trying to find her voice.

You can watch the video of Lucy & Sam here.

You can view how Lucy works here.

    emotional homework.

My Arduino would like to say:
    I’m on!
    I’m happy!
    I’m in trouble!
    Yes!
    No!
    Good Bye!

I had some trouble creating sound because I am very musically inclined. I tried my best to get my Arduino to speak the way I intended it to sound.

    Here is my code.
